Uganda’s ministry of health has suspended all mandatory covid19 testing for incoming travelers at Entebbe Airport. The removal of covid tests on arrival takes effect from 16 February 2022.
This means all travelers to Uganda do not require to test before travel. In a statement by the ministry of health, the decision was made due to the decline in cases and a lower threat from variants.
Only travelers going out of Uganda are still required to take the covid test 72 hours before boarding and flying out of Uganda.
